West Ham are starting to get a point where some of their young academy graduates are making it into the senior side.

Reece Oxford came through and was sold to Augsburg in the Bundesliga over the summer (BBC), Declan Rice came 2nd in the Hammer of the Year voting for 2019 and Ben Johnson made his senior debut last season (whufc.com).

However, now, as the fans have been asked who they want to see more of in the next few weeks by fan account @COYIrons on Twitter, a lot of supporters have been quick to call for Nathan Holland to get his chance in the Premier League.

The three players whose pictures were included in the tweet from the West Ham fan account were Holland, Fabian Balbuena and Jack Wilshere, yet most of the replies were centred around the club’s young attacker.

It isn’t just Holland who the fans are keen to see more of, though. The fans have also mentioned Wilshere’s name in the comments, and understandably so seeing as the former Arsenal man has racked up just 175 Premier League minutes this season so far (Transfermarkt).
