This weekend West ham will be traveling to Goodison Park to take on Everton, with both sides looking to bounce back from defeats they suffered before the international break.
However, ahead of the game, West Ham’s official Twitter account has posted a video of a fan favourite moment against the Toffees.
The clip in question is from that famous FA Cup replay in 2015.
The Hammers hosted Everton at Upton Park, and as the game finished 1-1 in 90 minutes and 2-2 in extra time, it went to penalties where Adrian, the now-Liverpool man, was the hero as he scored the decisive penalty in a 9-8 shootout win (BBC).

It’s not a moment that Hammers fans will be forgetting in a hurry, as the Spaniard ever so calmly removed his gloves before running up and slotting the winning penalty past Everton’s Joel Robles, who had hit the post beforehand, sending the Hammers into the 4th round of the FA Cup.
Pleased he is getting game time at @LFC, proper cult hero at West Ham after this.

I was working at a bar and a couple of my regulars had it on the phone, I just remember Adrian scoring the pen and me running and jumping around the bar

It’s not just West Ham fans, however, who have loved seeing this video of the Spaniard’s winning penalty against Everton.
A number of Liverpool fans have also latched onto West Ham’s tweet and have been lauding their current #2 goalkeeper for his special moment in a shootout, something they know all about after his UEFA Supercup heroics back in August (BBC).
That’s when he became a Liverpool legend.
