Tottenham fans may have loved their side’s 5-0 win over Crvena Zvezda last night in the Champions League, but before that game even kicked off the supporters had plenty to celebrate as the U19s of both sides took each other on in the UEFA Youth League.
It was a clash that the young Tottenham side absolutely romped through, winning 9-2 on the night and leaving the Serbian youngsters reeling. Things would obviously only get better when the senior sides faced later the same day, but the start that the U19s made was electric.
FULL-TIME: A dominant afternoon for our U19s at Hotspur Way as we pick up our first @UEFAYouthLeague victory of the season in style!

Troy Parrott was absolutely key to this win, as well. The young Irishman bagged four goals, with J’Neil Lloyd-Bennett, Max Robson, Kion Etete, Harvey White and Edmond-Paris Maghoma completing the list of Tottenham goal scorers.
Stick a couple or 11 of them into the first team tonight?

A lot of fans, though, focused in on one man during this win, and that man is Parrott. The Irishman was described as the heir to Robbie Keane by The Times over the summer, owing to his nationality and links to Spurs, and the fans are not holding back in their calls to see the youngster in the senior side.
@troyparrott9 needs to be in the first team, I don’t care, just put him in!
