Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted that he would make changes for the Champions League clash against Olympiacos on Wednesday night. [BBC]

Danny Rose and Serge Aurier have been rested and didn’t travel with the rest of the squad to Greece.

Ryan Sessegnon was also missing from the flight and it was reported that he was having trouble with the hamstring injury that has kept him from making his debut since his summer move.

Pochettino will be looking to upset the form book again after making it to the final last year, and this will be a game he’ll be targetting for points, despite Olympiacos being no pushovers.

Goalkeeper
Hugo Lloris will surely keep his place between the sticks – bar Harry Kane, it’s one of the most confident predictions we can make about the Spurs teamsheet tonight.

Defenders
With Danny Rose and Serge Aurier being rested, we’re expecting Ben Davies to get his first start of the season after coming on as a sub against Crystal Palace. Kyle Walker-Peters must have recovered from his injury and will line-up on the right. Davinson Sanchez should come in for Toby Alderweireld, who has played every minute in the Premier League so far this season, and line-up alongside Jan Vertonghen.

Midfielders
Tanguy Ndombele returned to action against Crystal Palace after missing two games with a hamstring problem. We think he starts tonight in a Champions League game that will be more familiar to him than the fast pace of the Premier League. Dele Alli should be ready for his first start of the season and Harry Winks should round out the midfield.

Attackers
Heung-min Son was on blistering form in the game against Palace, scoring two goals. He should carry on terrorising defences, with Harry Kane and Lucas Moura making up the attacking spots.

Injuries
Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso miss the game through injury, while Juan Foyth was left at home after returning to full training. Both Serge Aurier and Danny Rose have also been rested.

Changes
Out: Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen
In: Kyle Walker-Peters, Ben Davies, Davinson Sanchez, Tanguy Ndomble, Dele Alli, Lucas Moura

Watch it!
The game is being shown live on BT Sport this evening with an early kick-off time of 5.55pm.
