Tottenham fans are likely pleased with the point they won at the Emirates on Sunday, but plenty of them think they would have had a great chance of all three but for Danny Rose.
The 29-year-old left-back was partly to blame for the goal from Alexandre Lacaztte just before half-time that got Arsenal back into the game.
Rose had a chance to clear the ball but decided to try and play it out instead and Lacazette took full advantage with a brilliantly-taken goal.
That gave Arsenal the momentum in the second half and they completed the comeback with a goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Here are the best reactions from Tottenham fans to Rose’s display at the Emirates:
Sanchez & Rose dropped some horrendous FB performances. Worrying how bad we're looking in those areas right now. Time for gentle Ben to come back in and see if it helps at all. #thfc

Generally agree with these ratings.
In summary: Spurs have a full back problem. Danny Rose too unreliable, at times reckless at LB. Davidson Sanchez as RB – oh dear! #coys #thfc https://t.co/9gr7H1KntE

Tottenham fans weren’t happy to see Davinson Sanchez in the right wing-back position against Arsenal and Rose made a key mistake to let Arsenal back in the game.
It led one fan to say that “Spurs have major problems at fullback” which is a fair assessment.
Mauricio Pochettino does have Ben Davies to come back which will help things on the left, but he seems determined not to play Serge Aurier again and it will be interesting to see if he stays at the club today. That leaves just Kyle Walker-Peters at right-back and he was missing on Sunday through injury.
Ironically, these were the positions Tottenham were strongest in back when Kyle Walker was still at the club.

If Danny Rose kicks the ball out, that was an easy win. What a ridiculous error. #THFC #COYS

Plenty of decisions went against us today however we were terrible in the second half & thankful for VAR for the disallowed goal. Danny rose has to go, he is finished. #THFC

One Tottenham fan has had enough of Rose and wants to see him gone after Sunday’s performance, claiming “he is finished”.
That’s not going to happen now, at least in this window, despite heavy speculation about his future over the summer. Rose is under contract until 2021 and will be entering the final year of his contract next summer.
Not happy with that result. All rose has to do is pump it up the pitch stays 0-2 going into half time and it’s a different game silly mistake. Not investing in a RB is proving to be very stupid. But it was better and not a loss #coys #thfc

If Rose clears that ball up the line the following sequence leading to their goal doesn’t happen #COYS #THFC

This fan summed up the Rose error perfectly, saying, “What you doing not clearing that? We’re in the 2nd minute of injury time in the first half with a 2 goal cushion and you’re dribbling the ball out of the box. Common sense defending really.”
Arsenal fans had wanted a penalty immediately before Rose made his mistake and were calling for a handball after the ball appeared to brush the defender’s arm in the penalty area. It wasn’t given but perhaps he was put off slightly by that. He should have cleared the ball and had he done that, the game could have turned out very differently.
