Ryan Sessegnon is nearing a return from injury and Tottenham fans are “buzzing” at the prospect of seeing their new summer signing in action.
It’s not clear where Mauricio Pochettino is going to play him yet, with Sessegnon capable of playing at full-back, in midfield or on the left-wing.
But it’s feasible that he could help out with the current full-back problem, with Danny Rose still not convincing on the left and Kyle Walker-Peters currently injured.
Premier Injuries have Sessegnon listed for a return on September 14, while Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold claimed that he would be in full training during this international break and could be an option for Pochettino from the bench in September.
Tottenham fans are thrilled with the news and think that Sessegnon could make a real impact on a Tottenham side still not firing at full capacity.
Here are the best reactions to Sessegnon’s imminent availability:
Buzzing to see sessegnon tearing it up on the wing COYS?????

Will Pochettino play Sessegnon at wing-back or as a winger? Last season, the 19-year-old played at left-back, right-back, left-wing, right-wing and in the midfield for Fulham. His versatility is part of his appeal, but we’ve got the feeling that Sessegnon is going to play a more advanced role for Tottenham.

UK so buzzing to see sessegnon in action, this boy is 19 and people have written him off after a poor season with a terrible Fulham side, got him at a steal and poch will do wonders with him

Plenty of fans are saying they “can’t wait” for Sessegnon to finally make his bow for Tottenham. One said, he “hopefully makes a cameo against Palace” which is Tottenham’s next game in the Premier League on September 14.
Pochettino might think that game is too soon for him, certainly to start, but he could decide to put him on the bench to start integrating him with the Tottenham squad.
Sessegnon is set for full training during the international break and that will be a good sight for Spurs fans who have been waiting patiently to get a first glimpse of their new £25m signing.
Put it this way, I’ll be glad when Sessegnon and Foyth/Aurier are fit..
