Leeds United are top of the Championship and thrilling fans again with their attacking displays under manager Marcelo Bielsa.
However, they’re not the top scorers and three teams (Preston, West Brom and QPR) have netted more than Bielsa’s side this season.
One stat shows that really shouldn’t be the case. The LUFCDATA Twitter account highlighted teams with the fewest minutes played per chance in Europe’s top 5 leagues.
Man City were top with Pep’s side creating a chance every 5.2 minutes. Leeds were joint-sixth, alongside Liverpool, with a chance created every 6.6 minutes.

It’s exalted company for Bielsa’s Leeds side but their conversion rate is seriously lacking.
Leeds have averaged 1.6 goals per game in the Championship this season. Man City have scored an average of four-per-game in the Premier League. Liverpool have scored 2.8 goals-per-game.
That’s why, although the stat is good to see, many Leeds fans think it highlights a problem that needs solving.
Here are the best reactions from Leed fans:
Up there with some of Europes elite just need a striker like well Nkeitia to finish of these chances #Unleashthebeast #lufc #MOT https://t.co/kKLyCV1XAD

It’s obviously a great stat for Leeds and shows the sort of football they’re playing under Bielsa.
However, many fans pointed out that it’s all well and good creating chances, but you need to put them away.
Some fans think that Eddie Nketiah is the answer here.
He hasn’t started in the Championship yet, but he has a much better goals-per-minute ratio than Patrick Bamford.
Bamford has scored a goal every 169 minutes, while Nketiah has scored one for every 56 minutes he’s been on the pitch in the league. [WyScout]
Given that, it can surely only be a matter of time before the Arsenal loanee is given his chance.

I'm sure we'd be on the most chances to least goals top 10 across europe aswell, which is the one that counts.
