Everton fans have taken to Twitter to hail Alex Iwobi for his impact in their side’s 3-2 win over Wolves on Sunday.
The Nigerian international scored his second goal for the Toffees, and his first in the Premier League, with a flying header early in the first half.
That goal gave Everton the lead for a second time in frantic opening exchange that saw Richarlison open his own account for the season before Roman Saiss pegged them back after nine minutes.
A goal from Raul Jimenez in the second half tied up proceedings once more before another late strike from Richarlison stole the points.
But it was Iwobi who stole the show as he continued to show Arsenal just what they were missing by allowing him to move to Goodison Park just before the transfer deadline.
Here are some of the best tweets from supporters.
Wow great goal #Iwobi . Good play by #Richarlison #efc

Prior to Iwobi’s goalscoring turn against Wolves on Sunday, he has only featured for 29 minutes in the Premier League so far this season.
That came in the 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa last Friday evening, but even in his relatively brief cameo, he looked like a real bright spark.
The 23-year-old managed two shots on goal and three successful dribbles against the Villans, as well as a pass completion rate of 88.1% and a successful cross, as per Whoscored.
Those numbers, although isolated, outstrip his stats from last season, when he managed one shot on goal and 1.3 successful dribbles for the Gunners, as per Whoscored.
WHAT IS GOING ON!!!! Lovely cross by Sigurdsson. Iwobi’s head is magic

Admittedly the bar wasn’t high, but this is the best Everton have looked going forward all season. Not just in end product, but also because of the the movement of the ball and the general pace of things. Iwobi and Delph have been the shot of adrenaline needed. #EFC

In fact, that 29 minutes appearance showed stats that go beyond anything he has managed at Arsenal previously, and the hope will be that he will be able to keep on growing and developing as a player with regular playing time and a team that is, at least partially, built around him.
The one thing that Iwobi will be hoping to build on, however, is distributing more effectively for his teammates.
In the Europa League for Arsenal last season, the wide man averaged 1.5 key passes per game, and the season before that he managed 1.8 per match, as per Whoscored.
If he can add that to his game as well, Iwobi could prove to be an inspired signing for the Toffees.
Sig playing deeper which is Better. Also, we are a different team with iwobi.
