Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has predicted that Leicester will beat Tottenham in the early kick-off on Saturday.

Both teams are on eight points, with Tottenham ahead in third place on goal difference.

Nicholas thinks that Leicester can beat Tottenham at the King Power stadium and leapfrog them in the league, and claimed that Danny Rose seems unhappy at the club.

“Tottenham, we were told, have calmed down after the Crystal Palace game,” Nicholas wrote in his Sky Sports column.

“Christian Eriksen stays put and they have their private chat, but I don’t think that is the case. I don’t think Danny Rose is happy – how long will it be until he comes out and says he is not happy?

“Will Eriksen stay in the team now that Dele Alli is back? Does Heung-Min Son edge out Lucas Moura? There are so many questions.”

Nicholas predicts that Leicester will win 2-1.

Thorn in Tottenham’s side?

The Danny Rose issues have never really been put to bed since the infamous interview he did for the Sun back in 2017.

In that interview, he annoyed Tottenham fans and Pochettino by saying, “I will say this too — I will play up north. I don’t know exactly when, but I will get back up north and play some football somewhere.”

Rose was left out of the pre-season tour this summer and was expected to leave the club [Guardian] but ended up staying in north London. Since then, he’s played every Premier League game this season but was rested for the Champions League trip on Wednesday.

Is he unhappy? He certainly hasn’t been playing anywhere near his best and hasn’t got a rating in the sevens yet from WhoScored. His highest rating of the season was a 6.7 against Crystal Palace and that was the second-lowest of any Tottenham player.

Leicester under Brendan Rodgers have looked like a new team and have already drawn with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Spurs will need to be good to beat them and the spotlight will be on not just Danny Rose, but the right-back position as well. Davinson Sanchez played there against Olympiacos but we’re expecting Serge Aurier to get the nod for the second league game running on Saturday.
