Luke Ayling and Tyler Roberts have been sidelined since the start of the season but they’re hot on the comeback trail for Leeds.
The official Leeds Twitter account posted a video of both players back in training at Thorp Arch on Monday and fans are delighted to see the pair back in action.

Leeds have been doing okay without their right-back and attacker so far. They’re still unbeaten this season after winning four and drawing one in the Championship. They beat Stoke 3-0 at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday and play Nathan Jone’s side again in the second round of the Carabao Cup at Elland Road on Tuesday.
Both Ayling and Roberts might find it hard to break back into the team given Leeds’ run of form. Marcelo Bielsa doesn’t like to change his starting XI at the best of times, and new signings Helder Costa and Eddie Nketiah are still waiting for their first start in the league.
Leeds fans have picked up on this but are still delighted to see the pair back even if it is to just strengthen the bench.

Luke Ayling was the club’s number one right-back last season and was expected to line-up there this season before his injury. Now fans think he will struggle to get back in the starting XI as Stuart Dallas has been particularly impressive.

Great news

There’s still no timeframe for either players’ return but Roberts is expected to be back before Ayling. Having Roberts back will boost an attack that’s already scored 10 goals in five games. A bench of Eddie Nketiah, Helder Costa and Roberts is enough to strike fear into any Championship side this season.
