OPINION

Celtic are set to get their competitive season underway as they travel to FK Sarajevo tomorrow night for the first leg of the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

Celtic should win and they should win comfortably but fans will be aware of what happened last season when they traveled to Gibraltar to play Lincoln Red Imps.

It’s an especially important game for Neil Lennon who takes charge of his first game proper since being given the manager role on a permanent basis this summer.

He has some big decisions to make, not least up top where Leigh Griffiths has been on fire in pre-season after taking time out last season to deal with depression.

He scored four goals in one pre-season game but we still think he’s going to start on the bench with Odsonne Edouard leading the line in a 4-2-3-1 side. However, we’re expecting a big season for Griffiths.

The other big decision is what to do at left-back and we think new signing Boli Bolingoli will get the nod ahead of Jonny Hayes.

Christopher Jullien could start in the centre but is more likely to be on the bench with Kristoffer Ajer and Jozo Simunovic at the heart of defence.

This is the starting XI we expect Neil Lennon to put out tomorrow night:
