OPINION
Bruno Labbadia has looked like a stand-out candidate for the West Brom job, but understandably many fans are apoplectic on Twitter after seeing Sky Sports reported that their could be issues in the hunt to hire the 51-year-old German. Labbadia is out of work at the moment having left Wolfsburg at the end of the season. Albion are said to have made an approach for the ex-Bayer Leverkusen boss, but wages could be an issue for the Black Country club. Yet again it seems like the Baggies will be taking the cheap option rather than hiring someone who is clearly a good manager that could do well at The Hawthorns. West Brom fans on social media are furious with how long it is taking for Mark Jenkins to hire a permanent successor for Darren Moore, who was sacked all the way back in March. It has been almost three weeks since the play-off defeat to Aston Villa, and this slow process is rapidly draining the belief out of the supporters. Jenkins needs to sort this out as soon as possible and meet Labbadia’s wage demands.

We have spoken to Labbadia twice in a week, I'm guessing the subject of wages wasn't mentioned till 5 minutes from the end of his second interview & rejected the offer of payment in liquorice allsorts.
Lai & Jenkins have truly broke the mould on how to run a football club? #WBA pic.twitter.com/SLoQ1ohiFO

He mentioned his wages, they gulped, and thought, ‘we can’t afford that, but how can we drag the next hour out as he’s made the time to come over’ #typicalalbion #wba
