Daniel Levy could strike gold if Tottenham were to sign both Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Sessegnon from Fulham this summer with it being reported that the North London club is in advanced talks to sign the twins.

According to reliable news outlet Football Insider, Spurs are working on a double deal to sign the two 19-years-olds this summer following Fulham’s relegation from the Premier League.

Ryan is in the final year of his deal with the Cottagers and is widely seen as one of the most exciting young players in English football.

Although he struggled at Fulham this season in the top-flight, it is clear that he is someone with immense potential. Last season when the Cottagers won promotion from the Championship, the left-sided winger scored 16 goals and supplied eight assists in 52 total appearances.

Sessegnon is constantly likened to former Tottenham hero Gareth Bale and there is no doubt that signing the England Under-21 international this summer would be a stroke of genius by Levy because his transfer value is low right now, but could soar to huge levels once he joins Spurs.

According to the Sun, Spurs could get Sessegnon for just £25million – which is half of what Fulham wanted for him last summer.

It is clear that the teenage sensation would be a top addition to the Tottenham squad to add a great young player in an area of the squad, on the left wing, that could do with a bit of padding out.

Steven would also be a great signing for Spurs.

Not only would it keep Ryan happy to get to play football for the same team with his twin brother, but Steven is also a player who can add some quality to the right-back area of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

Kieran Trippier has been widely criticised for his performances this season and Serge Aurier has hardly been impressive since he was snapped up from Paris Saint-Germain almost two years ago.

Steven is less experienced than his brother having only made four senior appearances for Fulham due to being held back by a knee injury while playing for England Under-16s.

However he also has the potential to be a squad player for Spurs and offer them a new option in an area that has been devoid of quality in the last year.

Levy is one of the toughest negotiators and one of the cleverest chairmen in world football – he knows a good deal when he sees one.

Snapping up both of the Sessegnon brothers this summer would be a stroke of brilliance by the Spurs chief and in a few years’ time, the North London club could have a pair of twins that the world is talking about.
