Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Jordan Jones for his performance from the bench in Northern Ireland’s Euro 2020 qualifier win away to Estonia on Saturday. The midfielder, who is set to join Rangers from Kilmarnock this summer, was instrumental in helping Northern Ireland come back from a goal behind in the second half of the game in Estonia. Rangers fans are rightly enthused by the 24-year-old’s display for his country and have been given more reason to be excited by the prospect of watching him perform at Ibrox next season. Jones was brought on after 64 minutes, and he played a pivotal role in Northern Ireland’s winning goal, making a great run down the left before picking out Josh Magennis, who found the net. That run demonstrated the potential that Jones possesses and Rangers supporters will be hoping that they see the midfielder produce similar performances for the club next term. He was not always this explosive for Killie so this should give the Ibrox faithful faith they are getting their hands on a quality player.
