Celtic chief Peter Lawwell is going to ‘move fast’ to conclude the deal for Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull in the face of Championship interest from England, according to the Daily Record.
They have already agreed a £3million fee with Motherwell and are close to agreeing personal terms with the 19-year-old.
The Record claims that Celtic expect to get the deal done by end of play on Friday.

Talking on the Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast (Weds, 1:03:10), former Rangers striker Kris Boyd said, “The kid’s got talent, there’s no doubt about that. Some of the goals he’s scored, right foot, left foot, some of the passes, he’s not one of these players who likes to get on the ball. He makes the ball do the work.”
