COMMENTARY
Many Manchester United fans tuned in to Portugal’s clash with Switzerland in order to check out Joao Felix in action. The 19-year-old Benfica attacker is reportedly a transfer target for Man United this summer, with Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira previously going as far to claim that Man United have offered the youngster a contract. The reporter even surprisingly reported that Manchester United were considering paying £103.9million for him. When figures like that are being banded about, you expect to be wowed every time Felix steps on the field. However when playing for Portugal against Switzerland on Wednesday, he didn’t deliver the goods. In fact Felix looked a little out of his depth despite his country cruising to a 3-1 win. This caused many Man United fans to destroy the teenager on Twitter for not being good enough, with one hoping that the club’s scouts were in attendance to watch his struggles.

To be frank, Felix isn't ready for a big move. He's being bullied by the Swiss. Imagine him turning up against some physical sides in the prem. He'll be eaten alive. Needs at least 2 more season's in Portugal and needs to hit the gym. Not worth his €120mil euros #mufc

Sancho seems infinitely the better teen prodigy when compared to Felix. Seems to understand the game a lot better #PORSUI #joaofelix
