Many Aston Villa fans were thrilled by a transfer report that claimed Chelsea were willing to agree a deal with the Villans regarding Tammy Abraham. The Daily Mirror reported on Saturday that Chelsea would allow the 21-year-old forward to return to Villa Park for next season if Dean Smith’s side opted to sign him permanently rather than borrow his services. The national newspaper claimed that Abraham could cost £25million but despite his notable price tag, many Villans fans thought it was clear their club had to sign him. One Villans fan urged the club to get a deal done with Chelsea being open to selling the forward, while one supporter wanted Smith’s side to pay whatever it took to get him. It’s fair to say signing Abraham would make a lot of Villans fans happy and it’s easy to see why. The English attacker spent his 2018/19 campaign on loan at Villa Park and he scored an impressive 26 goals in 40 outings for the club.
