It looks like Tottenham will kick-off the next Premier League season after opening day fixtures were leaked, according to the Daily Express.

The claim that Tottenham have been given the 12.30pm kick-off at home to newly-promoted Norwich on Saturday, August 10.

Liverpool are away at Burnley with Man City facing a potential banana skin as they travel to Wolves on Monday evening.

OPINION

The Premier League fixtures aren’t getting officially announced until Thursday and we have no way of knowing if these leaked matches are correct. If they are, Norwich face a very rude awakening as they prepare for life back in the Premier League. A trip to Tottenham’s new stadium will certainly prove that they’re back in the big-time but it will also prove one of their toughest tests of the season. Mauricio Pochettino could well have a new-look Spurs side and will be keen to get off to the fastest start as he tries to position Spurs for a real tilt at the Premier League title. Liverpool shouldn’t have many problems getting past Burnley on Saturday afternoon but all eyes will be on Man City as they travel to a Wolves side who impressed massively last season. Elsewhere, Arsenal visit Crystal Palace, Chelsea go to Southampton and Man United welcome Brighton to Old Trafford.
