OPINION
Although it was a miserable night for Wales as they lost 1-0 to Hungary in Euro 2020 qualifying on Tuesday, many Manchester United fans were thrilled with what they saw of incoming summer signing Daniel James. In the Championship, the 21-year-old was known for his electrifying pace and ability on the ball, and that is exactly what he showcased on Tuesday night in Budapest. Understandably, United supporters were taken aback by how fast James actually is. Something that is currently lacking from the United squad is someone who can get the ball up the pitch in a zip and launch some devastating counter-attacks, much like Ryan Giggs did back in his prime. It’s too soon to draw any solid comparisons between James and Giggs, but the Old Trafford-bound attacker is bound to light up the place next season when he is playing in the Premier League. Man United fans have every right to be pleased with his addition.
