Leeds United have made approaches to sign both Ryan Kent and Harry Wilson from Liverpool this summer, according to the Football Insider.

The reliable outlet report that Leeds are one of several sides to have made enquiries for Kent and Wilson, with both wingers in demand this summer after their impressive respective loan spells with Rangers and Derby County last term.

It is thought that Marcelo Bielsa is keen to strengthen his attacking options after the Whites missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, and the Argentine is looking to improve his side’s end product in the final third ahead of next term.

It is believed that the European giants are still debating whether to loan out both Kent or Wilson again, or decide to sell them permanently with neither likely to be involved for the Reds next season, and Leeds could face competition from around ten British clubs for the pair.

Good signings for Leeds?

Either one of Kent or Wilson would be excellent additions for Leeds this summer, but if the Whites were able to recruit both players it would be a real coup ahead of next season.

Both wingers would have the ability to add some much needed end product in the final third of the pitch, with Bielsa’s side having the worst conversion rate in the Championship last term.

These are the sort of signings needed to help Leeds go one better than last season and secure a return back to the Premier League, if either one of them sign the Whites’ prospects for next campaign will have increased.

Likely to happen?

The prospects of Leeds signing both of the talented attackers this summer appear to be slim given the amount of interest in the pair following their impressive performances last season.

However, Bielsa has proven his ability to improve talented young players with potential such as Kent and Wilson, and both could benefit from a season working under the Argentine which could tempt them to move to Elland Road.

That being said, both players will be hoping to secure a move to the highest level possible, and if either are offered top flight football in either England or abroad it could prove too good to turn down.
