Rangers are willing to listen to offers for Eros Grezda after he failed to have an impact in his debut season at Ibrox, according to Football Insider.

The 24-year-old moved to Glasgow from NK Osijek at the end of August, but made only 17 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring just two goals and laying on one other.

Football Insider quotes a Rangers source who claims that out of everyone in last term’s squad, 12-time Albania international Grezda was the “biggest disappointment” for Gers boss Steven Gerrard and his staff.

FI add that Rangers are now willing to listen to offers for the winger as they look to offload him this summer.

OPINION

Out of all the potential departures from Rangers this summer, this is one which many Rangers fans will rejoice at. Since arriving from Osijek, Grezda has not impressed at all and has definitely underwhelmed. He only made 13 appearances in the Scottish Premiership and in that time, he managed the three goal contributions he made for the season. But it is a really poor record for Grezda and the move has definitely not worked out for him in the slightest. Rangers have a big summer planned of players coming in and those going out, and there is a real chance that if some more attacking talent comes in, Grezda could be pushed to the real fringes of the squad, which would not be good for the player. Overall, the move to Ibrox has not been a success in many ways for Grezda and the comments from the Gers source mean it does not bode well for his future.
