Barry Douglas opened himself up for a ribbing when he posted his latest holiday snap from Portugal.
Douglas, who missed the end of the season for Leeds through injury, is enjoying his downtime before what’s set to be a gruelling pre-season under Marcelo Bielsa.
However, Adam Forshaw wasn’t impressed with his fashion sense, responding to the Instagram post by saying, “Did you get dressed in the dark?”
Douglas responded quickly saying, “Your [sic] better than that Adam.”

Leeds fans will be hoping that Douglas completely recharges his batteries and comes back to Leeds a different player. He wasn’t bad last season but he certainly wasn’t the same player that tore the Championship up with Wolves in the 17/18 season. In the Wolves title-winning campaign he scored five goals and added 14 assists and was one of their standout players. He didn’t score for Leeds and only registered five assists and that’s a big drop for a player Leeds fans had high hopes for. If he can re-capture his form next season Leeds will have a serious chance of promotion. They’re currently the bookies favourites to win the Championship outright but Marcelo Bielsa will be under no illusions as to how hard it’s going to be to get out of the Championship after the struggles of lat season. A fully fit Douglas would be a real boost – he only played 26 league games in the 18/19 season after suffering three separate injuries.
