Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara has delivered his verdict on Twitter over Chelsea forward Eden Hazard’s move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Hazard has been confirmed as a Real Madrid player after signing a five-year deal with the Spanish side, which will see him end his trophy laden seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge.

Kamara took to his personal Twitter account on Friday to react to Hazard’s departure from Chelsea, following the confirmation of the Belgium’s move to Real Madrid and simply wrote: “Premier League will miss him for sure.”

OPINION

Kamara’s response to the confirmation of Hazard’s departure from Stamford Bridge probably mirrors not only the feelings of Chelsea supporters, but also neutral followers of the Premier League. Hazard, as Kamara states, will be missed by the Premier League, with the inventive forward always offering the ability to do something unexpected and get fans of their seats. Hazard has been consistently one of the best attacking players to watch in the Premier League since moving to Chelsea from Ligue 1 side Lille in the summer of 2012, and the Belgium international has helped the club win the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and the Europa League during his spell at Stamford Bridge. The attacker will be a massive loss for the Blues, with the club currently also under a transfer embargo, and it will be very interesting to see how Chelsea adapt to life without their most talented player next term. For now though Kamara and the rest of the neutral Premier League fans can reflect on the excellent performances that Hazard entertained with throughout his time in the English top flight.
