Celtic are in pursuit of Reading centre-back Liam Moore, according to Reading Chronicle journalist Courtney Friday.
The reporter claimed via his personal Twitter account on Sunday night that the Hoops are “keen” on the 26-year-old, who handed in a transfer request to try and force a move away from the Madejski last summer amid interest from Brighton [Sky Sports].

Brighton were said to have bid up to £8million for Moore in 2018, but failed to meet Reading’s valuation of £15million [Argus].
Good move for Celtic?
Moore would be a terrific addition to Celtic’s defence this summer, especially as Neil Lennon is likely to see the back of Dedryck Boyata at the end of this month when his contract expires.
Filip Benkovic’s loan spell at Celtic Park has already expired, so the Hoops do need to add to their centre-back options.
Moore would be a great player to sign.
Although Reading battled against relegation from the Championship last season, the 26-year-old was one of their best players as he made 41 appearances across all competitions, wearing the captain’s armband.
Celtic could do with Moore’s leadership in their defence and a summer move would be a good idea.

Likely to happen?
If Reading still value Moore at £15million then there is very little chance that this move would come off.
Celtic’s transfer record only stands at £9million, so they would be unlikely to go above that this summer for a defender.
As good as Moore is, the Bhoys may have to scrap their pursuit of the Englishman this summer due to the finances.
