Arsenal are ready to launch a new bid to sign Sampdoria duo Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen, according to Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira.
The Italian reporter claimed via his personal Twitter account on Wednesday that the Gunners have already had a £37.2million bid, for both players, rejected by Sampdoria.
It is understood that the Europa League runners-up are now preparing a new offer for Belgium international Praet, 25, and 23-year-old Anderson, who is also wanted by Tottenham and AC Milan.
#Arsenal insist for Dennis #Praet from #Sampdoria. Also #Emery is interested in Joaquim #Andersen, who is also a target for #Milan and #Tottenham. #Gunners are preparing a new bid, after that €42M (for both) rejected by Ferrero. #transfers #AFC

Good move for Arsenal?
Praet is a decent central midfielder who could do a job for Arsenal now that Aaron Ramsey has left, but what Emery needs to do more of this summer is strengthen his defence and that is why signing Andersen is more key for the North London giants.
Andersen is one of the most highly-rated young centre-backs in Serie A after a solid season with Sampdoria, in which he made 34 appearances across all competitions and contributed to 12 clean sheets.
The 6ft 3 [transfermarkt] Dane is just as good with the ball at his feet as he is when he’s called into his defensive duties so he should be seen as a top-priority for the Gunners this summer, especially as Spurs are also reportedly targetting him.

Likely to happen?
Arsenal will surely find it tough to pry both Praet and Andersen away from Sampdoria.
The Gunners’ bid of £37.2million for the duo is well below what they are actually worth and the club will have to improve that quite a lot if they want to stand a chance of signing them.
