OPINION
Tottenham have reportedly tabled a £10million bid to sign youngster Jack Clarke from Leeds United, and it is not hard to see why some Spurs fans on Twitter have been blown away by the news. Clarke, 18, is a great young talent that has broken into the Leeds first team this season under the leadership of Marcelo Bielsa. His impact off the bench during the winter was something that kept the Whites up there in the Championship promotion race and it is clear that the attacker has a lot of potential. The Daily Mail has now claimed that Spurs have offered £10million for Clarke in the summer, and that is a very clever bid by the North London club. Clarke could be worth a lot more than that in the future and would add an extra layer of depth to Mauricio Pochettino’s attacking options. As Leeds just missed out on promotion to the Premier League this season, they might find it hard to resist such a good offer for their academy product.
