Celtic have no intention of bringing Jeremy Toljan back to the club on a permanent basis, according to Football Insider.

According to the report, Toljan will be the next man through the exit door and will return to his parent club after the Scottish cup final with Hearts on May 25.

The 24-year-old has only featured eight times in the league since his deadline day arrival in January and has failed to make an impression.

Good move for Celtic?

The Hoops are making the correct decision and it’s no surprise. Toljan has not lived up to expectation since his move to Glasgow and hasn’t started since March in the league. He’ll be one of a number of names to depart, with Neil Lennon currently making plans to rebuild the club in his image. Will he get the chance? Opinion is split on this but it will be tough to bring a big name to Celtic this summer. Celtic need to bring in players that will make an immediate impact and Toljan isn’t that.

Likely to happen?

It sounds like the decision has been made and it would be very surprising to see the defender return to Celtic. Sone loan moves just don’t work out and this is one of them Having failed to impress, Celtic fans will not want to see him in green and white again next season. The team has to improve next season or else Celtic could lose their crown for the first time in nine years.
