OPINION
It’s been a great season for Tottenham fans and it could get even better in Madrid on June 1 when they take on Liverpool for the Champions League trophy.
However, there are cracks in the squad, not least in midfielder where Mauricio Pochettino has been severely stretched this season after injuries to Harry Winks and Eric Dier.
Mousa Dembele moved to China in January and although Moussa Sissoko has stepped up this season, Pochettino needs a replacement.
They may have found him.
According to Le10Sport Tottenham are in ‘pole position’ to sign 22-year-old Tanguy Ndombélé from Lyon and the news has sent some Spurs fans into meltdown.
The France international is one of the best deep-lying midfielders in the world at the moment and the report claims that he could move in the summer for around £53million.
That’s a lot of money and Tottenham fans have been here before but they would love him to be their marquee signing this summer.
Here are the best reactions from Tottenham fans:

Would love for us to just get this one done and not Levy it up by waiting to make a bargain offer at the last minute.

A deep midfield of Sissoko and Ndombele sounds good to me.
