Mauricio Pochettino has named his starting XI for the final Premier League game of the season against Everton. Spurs defeated Ajax last Wednesday to book their place in the Champions League final against Liverpool on June 1 and will want to avoid any injuries going into the enormous clash. Spurs will finish third in the Premier League if they defeat Everton today and Chelsea fail to beat Leicester at the King Power Stadium. Despite this, Spurs has made a number of changes and Kyle Walker-Peters has received the nod – he will play just his sixth Premier League game of the season. The inclusion may come as a surprise to many given the lack of game-time that the defender has received this season. The most important thing for Tottenham is to allow fringe players to get a chance and give the main assets an opportunity to rest for the huge fixture in the Champions League. Walker-Peters’ last Premier League appearance came during the 4-0 win over Huddersfield last month, the 22-year-old will have a chance to impress in what is a rare league start for the youngster. Despite Walker-Peters not featuring much, Spurs fans were pleased to see the youngster in the lineup.
