Wolves are plotting a swoop for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, according to Football Insider, and he could prove to be a serious bit of business for Nuno’s side.

Liverpool value the 22-year-old at £25 million and after a standout season in the Championship, we think he would be worth every penny – with his best years still ahead of him, Wilson’s value could rocket in years to come.

He is one of the brightest talents in British football – he is brimming with potential, unlucky not to get a chance at Liverpool and Wolves would be stupid not to meet their valuation.

The signing would not only benefit Wolves next season, it could leave them financially better off in the future if Wilson is able to reach that next level in the Premier League.

Even at such a tender age, Wilson has been a revelation in the Championship this term whilst on loan at Derby County and his 17 league goals have helped fire the club to the play-off final against Aston Villa on May 27.

18 goals in all competitions and six assists from the wing is hugely impressive and adding Wilson to the ranks would significantly improve Nuno Espirto Santo’s options.

Wolves will need more depth next campaign with European football on the agenda and having Wilson available would leave them with a number of great players to choose from.

Adama Traore, however, has been linked with a move away from the club and bringing in Wilson would be the perfect replacement for the winger.

Wilson is a set-piece specialist and this threat would be welcomed by any side in the league – his free-kick at Old Trafford was an unbelievable effort.

Wolves could become an even bigger success in the near future given their strong financial backing and bright management team – additions like Wilson will no doubt help them prepare for a brighter future.
