Graham Dorrans is in contention for his first league start of the season against Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Gary McAllister confirmed that he could play after performing well in behind-closed-doors games.
Jamie Murphy won’t make the game but McAllister revealed he would be fit by June.
McAllister went on to say that the two players would be like two new signings next season.
Dorrans joined from Norwich for £1.35m in 2017 but has suffered through injury and has only made 23 appearances, scoring five goals and adding four assists.
He’s only played 27 minutes in one league game this season, when he came on as a substitute against St Johnstone in September.
??GM: Dorrans is in consideration after playing well in closed doors games. Jamie Murphy won't be ready but come June he will be good and ready to go.

OPINION
Rangers can finish the season on a high and possibly get to within three points of Celtic in the Premiership. If that does happen, Rangers will look back at some of the games they dropped points in, against teams they should have beaten easily and have some regrets. However, it’s all about looking forward now and with Dorrans and Murphy back next season, new players already confirmed, and a busy summer of recruiting ahead, the Gerrard experiment is showing no signs of coming off the rails. He’s got them closer to Celtic this season, won the last two Old Firm games easily at Ibrox and there’s a feeling they’ll be pushing for the title next season. With Brendan Rodgers gone, Celtic have their own problems and they haven’t looked so vulnerable for a long time.
