There was talk of Celtic youngster Ewan Henderson getting a run-out for the Hoops against Hearts on Sunday and, after being given just that, he did not take long to impress. He had a brilliant opening 45 minutes, as these Celtic fans on Twitter have rightly pointed out. From the off, he has looked sharp and just two minutes in, he produced a one-two with Mikey Johnston which resulted in the latter smashing home the opening goal from close range. It was a fantastic goal but the pass was sublime from Henderson. It was perfectly weighted, and these Celtic fans have got it exactly right when they lavish praise on the duo, a lot of it coming for Henderson. This was the perfect opportunity for the youngster – who has only made three Premiership appearances this season before Sunday’s clash – to get some experience and show Neil Lennon what he is all about, and he has done that brilliantly. With the summer just around the corner, this was his chance to prove his worth to the Hoops and he took the chance with both hands.
