OPINION
Celtic have lacked a certain amount of urgency in recent weeks. The Hoops have been lethargic and lacklustre at times under Neil Lennon as they have continued a march towards their eighth title in a row that has pretty much slowed to a trudge. There will have been big hopes, therefore, that Tom Rogic could put in the kind of high energy performance against Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon that has made him so popular at Parkhead during the course of his Celtic career. The early signs were promising too. The Australian initially looked like a breath of fresh air as he buzzed and bustled his way around the centre of the park in the 3-0 win. Soon, however, he seemed to slump and there were several occasions when he looked sluggish in the engine room. Far too often he was harried and hassled off the ball, and as the game wore on he seemed to become rustier and rustier. Perhaps that is understandable for a player who has had a season as disrupted as his, but all things considered, this wasn’t up to scratch form a player who has the capability to make a real impact.

Rogic! Constantly getting robbed of the ball. Absolutely no desire to get in the end of Edddy’s ball.
