Mohamed Salah will return from injury and will be available for selection for Liverpool’s final-day clash with Wolves on Sunday, according to the Evening Standard.

Following a nasty collision with Newcastle’s Martin Dubravka, Salah was forced off during the Reds’ 3-2 win at St. James’ Park and subsequently missed Tuesday’s unforgettable semi-final with Barcelona. Salah was ruled out after suffering a minor concussion.

Liverpool will win the Premier League if they beat Wolves and Manchester City fail to beat Brighton. The return of Salah will be a major boost going into the game, as Liverpool end their quest to become champions of England for the first time since 1990.

The Egyptian forward could become a Champions League and Premier League winner for the Reds this season.

OPINION

The return of Salah will help squash fears of an upset on Sunday. Wolves knocked Liverpool out of the Fa Cup this season and Jurgen Klopp will be wary of the quality that Wolves have in their squad. With City travelling to Brighton, they are fully expected to lift the Premier League title, however, Liverpool must still ensure that they take care of their own business before hoping that City slip up. The Reds have been simply magnificent and it’s insane that Liverpool can potentially come second despite finishing on 97 points. They can be proud of their efforts and Klopp can still win the Champions League this season. It has been the best Liverpool campaign for many years and the fact that they still may lose the league tells you just how competitive the Premier League is. Whatever happens, Liverpool have been immense and Salah can now help his side be victorious on Sunday and also in Europe.
