OPINION
Rangers didn’t finish the season on a high, losing their final game of the season 2-1 after a late penalty was converted by Kilmarnock, and fans were fuming after a horrible performance from left-back Borna Barisic.
Steven Gerrard’s men had the chance of finishing the season just three points back from Celtic if results went their way. Instead, it was reversed, with Celtic winning 2-1 to finish nine points in front in the Premiership.
Gers fans will want to see that change dramatically next season and there’s set to be yet more changes at Ibrox this summer, with the big question over whether Alfredo Morelos will stay.
After yesterday’s performance there are a fair few who would like to see him gone, believing the team plays better when he’s not in it. Lots of Rangers fans feel the same way about Barisic too after Sunday’s game.
He’s been out since the last Kilmarnock game in March and all he did was give away a penalty. Apart from that we can’t remember a single positive thing he did for his side, and that was reflected in fans’ comments.

It was a game for Gerrard to have a look at things. If losing today means he now knows Barisic has to go and we play better without Morelos then so be it. Better finding out now than in July.
