Wolves have recently been linked with a move for AC Milan striker Andre Silva as the summer transfer window slowly approaches.

According to The Sunday People’s print edition (Sunday May 5th, page 51) there are serious talks going on behind the scenes at the club about potential transfers, and Silva is name that has been mentioned.

It has been made clear that Wolves have a ‘business relationship’ with Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes, which could help the club to land the summer signing of the 23-year old forward.

The AC Milan striker would fit in perfectly at the Molineux Stadium, and surely link well with his fellow countrymen should this potential move come to fruition.

Although Wolves have a number of decent attacking options amongst their barracks, Raul Giminez and Diogo Jota for example, it would never hurt to bring a fresh face in and spice things up a little on the field.

Silva has had a fairly successful loan spell this season with Sevilla, scoring nine and assisting two goals in the 27 La Liga fixtures in which he’s been involved in.

The 23-year-old has respectable pace, has shown to be formidable in front of goal and looks to be the real deal.

Especially considering Wolves recent rise in form in the Premier League, they should be looking to bring in players of Silva’s quality to help them keep on improving, as they surely now will be thinking about becoming regular challengers for a place in the Europa League.

Although the final decision will have to be made on how much money the Wolves board will allow for Nuno Espírito Santo, the club should most definitely go all out to bring Silva in ahead of next season as he would be a realistic option who’d improve them.
