West Ham may have agreed to sign Porto attacker Moussa Marega, according to A Bola.

The Portuguese outlet claims that the Hammers may have already reached an agreement over the 28-year-old forward when claiming that they were also keen on signing Djaniny Semedo from Saudi Arabian club Ahli.

A Bola claimed that the Hammers along with Everton and Wolves had all collected information on Djaniny after he scored 24 goals in his 2018/19 campaign.

Good move for West Ham?

Yes on Marega, no on Djaniny.

If the Hammers have reached a deal for Marega then West Ham fans should start to get very excited that he could soon rock up at the club.

The 28-year-old was involved in 32 goals in his 2018/19 campaign for Porto as he scored 21 while assisting 11 to help the Portuguese side.

Marega even managed to score six of his goals in his nine Champions League outings and if that doesn’t prove his quality nothing will.

As for Djaniny, it’s hard to know if he is worth West Ham’s time.

The 28-year-old isn’t playing in the most glamorous league, so it’s hard to asses if he could excel in the Premier League.

Likely to happen?

Well if A Bola are right to believe the Hammers have reached an agreement over Marega, then that has a very good chance of happening; as it makes it seem like the London club are closing in on the 28-year-old.

It seems likely that they could have struck a deal as the London club were previously thought to be pursuing the forward according to CM Jornal.

However when it comes to Djaniny, the Hammers have only collected information on him and they’ll probably still only weighing up whether he is worth making an offer for.

While Manuel Pellegrini’s side could do with a couple of new attackers arriving, the experienced manager is no doubt going to do his research to ensure only the right players arrive.
