COMMENTARY
Many West Ham fans were blown away by the display of goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski in the 4-1 win against Watford on Sunday. While several Hammers players wowed against the Hornets in order to achieve a comfortable victory, it was the man between the sticks that had fans singing his praises. One Hammers fan was even calling the keeper a god during his latest display which was high praise indeed. This was quite a surprise as normally it’s the goalscorers that steal headlines and the hearts of supporters. However Fabianski has been in fantastic form this season and clearly Hammers supporters wanted to make it clear how they felt about the keeper on the final day of the Premier League season. The 34-year-old arrived from Swansea City in the summer and it’s fair to say he has been the Hammers’ best signing. While other summer recruits like Felipe Anderson have wowed, it’s clear the Polish international has at times won his team points single-handily.
