COMMENTARY
Many West Ham fans were in awe of attacker Michail Antonio on Sunday as he wowed in the 4-1 win over Watford. The 29-year-old winger may not have got on the scoresheet in the Hammers’ impressive win over the Hornets but his constant runs at his opponent’s defence were key. Antonio wouldn’t give up, chased down every loose ball and you feel that Watford defenders may be having nightmares about him in the coming days. It’s fair to say that several West Ham fans were impressed by what they saw of Antonio, though you feel as it was the last day of the season they were especially happy with him as they sort of reflected on the campaign during the match. Antonio has got better and better as the season has gone and just like one Hammers fan said below at times he has felt like a new player. The winger had an injury-plagued 2017/18 campaign and it seems he just needed a little bit of time this season to get back to his best.
