Tottenham are not enjoying the end to the 18/19 season and they lost again on Saturday, to Bournemouth, with fans hating the performance from Kieran Trippier.

He’s been off the pace all season and he wasn’t good on Saturday.

In an incredible game on the south coast, Mauricio Pochettino’s side had two men sent off, could easily have had another dismissed, and eventually went down to a late Nathan Ake goal. It’s lucky for them that all their rivals around them have been worse and a top-four spot is still theirs if they win their last game of the season.

Eric Dier was the man who probably should have been sent off for Tottenham in the first-half and he should have conceded a penalty too. He stayed on the pitch but Heung-min Son saw red for a really uncharacteristic shove that Jefferson Lerma made the most of. Dier was hauled off at half-time, along with Toby Alderwiereld, who was also on a yellow, but his replacement Juan Foyth lasted just three minutes before seeing red for a high lunge.

Kieran Trippier stayed on the pitch for the full 90 minutes but he didn’t impress the travelling Spurs fans at all and they let the world know what they thought on Twitter. One wished he’d been sent off too so they didn’t have to play him against Everton next week.

Here are the best reactions from thoroughly disgruntled Spurs fans:
