It’s safe to say Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen didn’t see his fan club grow after his display in the 1-0 loss to Ajax. The 27-year-old midfielder had a number of Spurs supporters fuming as they couldn’t believe how bad he was on Tuesday. Eriksen went missing for last parts of the game as he failed to get on the ball and was a passenger as the match passed him by. With this in mind it was no surprise that many Tottenham fans ripped him apart and didn’t hold back with sharing how they felt about it. One fan even urged Spurs to sell the usually impressive player and even implied that they won’t mind him being dumped off at Old Trafford to play for Premier League rivals Manchester United. While that supporter was happy over the idea of Eriksen in a Man United shirt on Tuesday, they may change mind in the coming weeks. Eriksen is capable of better displays and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he wows in his next outing.
