COMMENTARY
Manchester City defeated Leicester City 1-0 on Monday and many Man City fans found a reason to be cheery other than the victory. This reason was none other than Bernardo Silva. Several Man City fans were blown away by 24-year-old winger’s display against the Foxes with one even comparing the player’s dribbling ability to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi. While Silva did show glimpses of his ability against the Foxes, he still looked capable of more. The winger has wowed in his 49 outings across all competitions this season, but his outing against the Foxes wasn’t among his best. While Brendan Rodger’s side did make life difficult for Silva as they regularly had two players marking him; he is talented enough to find a way around that. Yet while that didn’t happen as often as it should have, it still seems the Man City supporters below were convinced about how good the 24-year-old is.
