Wolves should be blushing over West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady using them as a glowing example when offering Sheffield United and Norwich City advice.

The senior Hammers figure used her latest column to offer the newly-promoted Blades and the Canaries on how to survive in the Premier League and she put Wolves on a pedestal by the way she used them as an example.

“But generally, you must concentrate on trying to buy the best players you can afford — as Wolves did last season,” wrote Brady in her column for The Sun.

Brady shared that she believes a club has to spend upon getting promoted, as no one could survive in the top-flight on the cheap.

While the Hammers senior figure could have used any team to make her point, even her own West Ham, yet she focused on how well Wolves had done.

Wolves recruited top-quality players in the summer that had made a difference to their side, for example the likes of Leander Dendoncker, Rui Patricio and Raul Jimenez all arrived ahead of the 2018/19 season starting.

Nuno Espirito Santo has reaped the rewards of his club being efficient in the transfer market as he has been able to guide them to sit seventh in the Premier League after 36 games played.

In fact if everything goes their way, Wolves’ impressive league finish could see them competing in Europa League next season.

Yet despite Wolves justifying Brady’s praise given how successful their transfer business has led to them being, they should still be blushing over her public remarks.

It’s not often that a member of a Premier League rival’s board speaks out so positively about a club, and that’s why Wolves should feel so pleased over Brady’s remarks.
