Bournemouth will accept an offer from Everton or Arsenal for attacker Ryan Fraser if either club opts to make one, according to The Sun.

The national newspaper’s print edition (Sunday May 19th, page 63) states that the 25-year-old winger is refusing to commit to a new deal so the Cherries will likely accept any offer from the Toffees or the Gunners as a result.

The Sun report that while Cherries manager Eddie Howe fears losing Fraser, the boss is prepared to show how much Callum Wilson means to the club by sanctioning the player getting a pay rise.

Good move for Everton?

Yes.

Fraser would be a fantastic addition to Marco Silva’s side as he could help make the Toffees more lethal going forward.

The 25-year-old flyer, who earns £27,000-a-week (Source: Spotrac), racked up 15 assists and eight goals in the 42 outings he made in the 2018/19 campaign and those sort of numbers show how lethal he could be.

Also given that Fraser has featured 92 times in the Premier League there should be no question marks over whether he is good enough to play for the Toffees, as he has proven his quality time and time again.

Then there’s the fact that Bournemouth’s willingness to sell, means the Toffees won’t have to waste too much time convincing the Premier League club to part company with their player.

Likely to happen?

There’s definitely a chance.

The Sun reported in January that the Toffees were considering making a £15million bid for the winger so it’s not like they haven’t thought about making an offer for Fraser before.

So with this update, surely the Toffees will finally submit a bid and get their man.

The only issue is that with Arsenal lurking, Fraser may prefer to go there when you consider that they normally compete at the higher end of the table.
