Lord Alan Sugar has aimed a subtle dig at Liverpool, predicting that it looks like Barcelona will play against Tottenham in the Champions League final.
Spurs lost 1-0 to Ajax on Tuesday night but Lord Sugar clearly feels as though the London club will turn things around in Amsterdam next Wednesday.
Barcelona won 3-0 against Liverpool at the Nou Camp on Wednesday and the former Spurs chairman clearly feels as though it will be his old club taking on the Spanish giants in Madrid on June 1.
“Oh well looks like Spurs will be playing Barcelona in the CL final in Madrid,” he said via his personal Twitter account.

Tottenham have a lot of work to do to turn things around against Ajax next week, but it does look as though the winners of that match at the Johan Cryuff Arena will be playing against Barcelona. Luis Suarez and a brace by Lionel Messi secured a 3-0 victory over Liverpool, who look as though they are going to crash out of the competition in the semi-finals. Liverpool had the chances to at least get an away goal at the Nou Camp and that would have massively boosted their chances of a win before the second-leg at Anfield next week. James Milner hit a chance straight at the Barca goalkeeper while Mohamed Salah hit the post when he had basically an open goal to shoot at. If Liverpool aren’t going to take those chances then they can say goodbye to their sixth European title. As for Spurs, they need to beat Ajax first. Heung-min Son will be back in action for the second-leg and if Spurs can score two goals in Amsterdam, they can make themselves favourites to win.
