OPINION
Jurgen Klopp has decided to start Daniel Sturridge up front for Liverpool’s clash against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday and yet again, many Reds fans are writing off a player before he has even had a chance to do anything. Roberto Firmino is clearly unavailable for the match on Tyneside as it was confirmed via Liverpool’s official Twitter account prior to kick-off that the Brazilian is not in the squad. Georginio Wijnaldum started in the attack instead of Firmino against Barcelona on Wednesday night and it was so obvious that a midfielder cannot play in that role in the front-three. However fans are now saying that Sturridge shouldn’t be starting? Do fans want a striker to start in the striker position? Or someone else? Let’s give Sturridge a chance. He’s go a point to prove against Newcastle to maybe find himself a new club ahead of his contract expiring at the end of the season.

Don't understand the Sturridge IN brigade, that man is done, he's got a better chance of making it as a rapper now than as a footballer
