OPINION
Leeds United have announced that youngster Harrison Male has penned a new deal with the club that extends his stay until the end of next season and after being impressed by what the goalkeeper has shown in the Under-18s, many fans on Twitter are thrilled with the news. Male, 18, will play for the Under-23s side next season after playing for both Carlos Corberan’s side and the Under-18s last season. He certainly seems like a great young prospect and hopefully he can win himself a new deal before the end of this deal that he’s just signed. Leeds fans love to see their club produce quality players like Male and he will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Bailey Peacock-Farrell, who has risen from being an Under-23s goalkeeper to a Northern Ireland international in a short period of time. If Male can get a foothold in the Under-23s side then there’s no reason why he couldn’t do similar.
