Any club that realistically wants to challenge for European qualification in the Premier League needs a striker who can guarantee goals in every game they play.

With the season over and clubs now releasing their retained lists, the next focus will be drawing up a list of potential signings to make their squads stronger ahead of the next campaign.

Ever since Romelu Lukaku left Everton to join Manchester United, they have failed to replace the Belgian forward and have lacked a presence that can fire them up the table. This upcoming transfer window will be vital for the Toffees and Marco Silva must make it his number one priority to find a goalscorer.

One of the latest reports from A BOLA claim Everton are interested in signing 28-year-old forward Djaniny Semedo from Saudi club, Al Ahli.

The Portuguese outlet suggest that fellow Premier League clubs Wolves and West Ham are also exploring the option of his signature and Everton must act fast to secure the striker who has been in scintillating form in-front of goal.

Djaniny, 28, has been unstoppable in all competitions this season – being involved in 23 goals in 29 appearances and averages a goal every 76 minutes in the league for his current club that he joined in 2018.

The Cape Verde international would be a perfect addition to an Everton side crying out for a quality striker – Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin struggling to lead the line as effectively as Marco Silva might like.

At 6’2″ (source: Transfermarkt), Djaniny is a great presence and would cause all sorts of problems to any Premier League defence.

Marco Silva must act and secure this signature or face losing out to fellow Premier League sides who could unleash him against his Everton side next season.
