Marcelo Bielsa has a couple of selection problems ahead of his final game of the season against Ipswich on Sunday. Patrick Bamford is suspended following the fracas at Aston Villa and Tyler Roberts was declared a big doubt in the pre-match press conference. That means a probable start for Kemar Roofe but there are many Leeds fans who want Bielsa to unleash his secret weapon at Portman Road – 17-year-old Ryan Edmondson. The young striker has been in red-hot form for the Under-23s, scoring 19 goals for them in a season that’s seen them take the PDL North title. With Leeds already in the play-offs it seems like the perfect opportunity to give him a shot in the first-team. However, there is one sticking point – the Under-23s have a really important game on Monday when they play Birmingham in the PDL national play-off. Leeds fans know this but claim Edmondson could – and should – still play a part in the final Championship game of the season on Sunday.
