Aston Villa supporters have been taken to Twitter to react to the latest report that Dean Smith’s side are looking to make a renewed approach to sign Joe Lolley, and are keen on a permanent move for Tyrone Mings, according to Sky Sports on the broadcaster’s transfer centre live blog on Thursday [11:26am and 11:50am]. Both players would be welcome additions at Villa Park ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League following their win in the Championship play-off final against Derby. Nottingham Forest winger Lolley has enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring 11 and assisting 11 goals this campaign. Mings meanwhile has been an instrumental figure for Smith’s side having arrived on loan from Bournemouth for the second half of the season, and helping to improve Villa’s defence which gave them a platform to go on and earn promotion. Villa supporters would welcome both players to Villa Park this summer, and will be hoping the pair are able to be secured on a permanent basis during the transfer window.
